Overview

YouTube Fit to Screen is a browser extension that adds a button to the YouTube video player, allowing videos to fill an ultrawide (or any) screen by entering fullscreen and cropping the video with CSS. The extension operates entirely within your browser and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data.

Data Collection

This extension collects no data of any kind. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected.
• No browsing history, watch history, or URLs are recorded.
• No cookies are read or written.
• No analytics or telemetry are gathered.
• No information is transmitted to any server.

Permissions

The extension declares no browser permissions beyond a content script that runs only on https://www.youtube.com/*. It manipulates the YouTube player's DOM to inject a button and CSS — nothing more.

Third-Party Services

This extension does not integrate with or send data to any third-party service.
